Marion D. Bandura

MARION D. BANDURA, 73 Marion D. (Traynor) Bandura, 73, loving wife of Lawrence Bandura of Gilbertsville, passed away at home unexpectedly June 23, 2014. She was the daughter of the late William and Marion Traynor. She was the proud mother of her three sons and their wives, David and Jennifer of Boiling Springs, Stephen and Linda of Jeffersonville, and Gregory and Jennifer of Boyertown. The oldest of four children, Marion is also survived by brother William Traynor of Stockton, MD, brother Robert Traynor and wife Debra of Red Hill, and sister Carol Granese and husband Michael of Camano Island, WA, as well as brother-in-law Gerald and wife Nancy of Cantonment, FL, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Grammy also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren, Alexandra Lynn, Matthew Lawrence, and Levi Robert. She was preceded in death by grandson Avery James. Marion graduated from North Penn High School, stayed at home for many years to raise her family, and worked as a secretary for several companies including Lockheed Martin. Marion and Larry celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary on June 21st. She was an avid book reader and collector as well as a quilting enthusiast. She was also known for her delicious blueberry pies. She loved spending time with her husband and family at her cabin in the mountains. A Viewing will be held Saturday, June 28, 2014 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Catagnus Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Inc., 1020 E. Philadelphia Ave., Gilbertsville. Interment will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Avery J. Bandura Memorial Scholarship Fund at 4 Meadowood Place Boiling Springs, PA 17007.
