MARY L. MILLER, 75, OF BOYERTOWN Mary L. (Hartman) Miller, 75, widow of Donald F. Miller, of Boyertown, died Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at Pottstown Memorial Medical Center in Pottstown. Born in Boyertown, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Dorothy (Werner) Hartman. She was a 1956 graduate of Boyertown High School. Mary was employed by the Great American Knitting Mill of Bally as an Examiner for many years. Previously, she was a secretary at Boyertown Borough Hall from 1956 - 1971. She was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church. Mary was a member of the Aquarium Club of Lancaster County and enjoyed gardening, knitting and crossword puzzles. Surviving are one daughter, Tara Miller, whom she resided with, of Boyertown; one stepdaughter, Christine Peck, wife of Ron, of Douglass Twp., Berks County; one stepson, Gary Miller, husband of Wendy, of Boyertown; one sister, Janice Renninger of Boyertown; one brother, Carl Hartman of Norristown and five step-grandchildren. She was predeceased by one infant brother, Barry Allen Hartman. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service on Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at Morrell Funeral Home, 124 West Philadelphia Avenue, Boyertown, PA. A viewing will be held from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be held at Fairview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 498 Bellevue Avenue, Reading, PA 19605. Arrangements are by the Morrell Funeral Home Inc., (www.MorrellFuneralHome.com).
