Mary T. Doman

MARY T. DOMAN, 88, OF BOYERTOWN Mary T. Doman, 88, formerly of Blandon and Philadelphia, entered into rest early Wednesday morning September 28, 2011 in Chestnut Knoll Assisted Living Center, Boyertown, where she was a resident for over 2.5 years. Born in Philadelphia she was the daughter of the late Herman and Fanny Kammeren Jaeckle. Mary had worked for Merck, Sharpe & Dohme for over 48 years where she held various positions. First starting out as a labeler then transferred to the Sucrets Department and finally as a line leader before retiring in 1991. She attended Kensington Girls High School. She is survived by one son, Edward J. Doman of Lansdale, ex-husband of Teofila Doman of Wildwood, NJ; one daughter, Maryanne, wife of Charles Meehan of Perkiomenville; two grandchildren, Sophia (Doman), wife of John G. Lis Jr. of Oley, and James C. Meehan of Perkiomenville, and one sister, Lillian McNulty of Delaware County. She was the loving aunt of numerous nieces and nephews. Mary is predeceased by sisters, Doris Doman and Frances Barsuglia, and two brothers, Joseph and John Jaeckle, and a grandson, Edward D. Doman. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday October 3, 2011 at 11 a.m. in Holy Guardian Angels Roman Catholic Church, 3121 Kutztown Rd., Reading. Interment to follow in Maidencreek Cemetery, Blandon. There will be a viewing Monday from 9 until 10:30 a.m. in the Milkins Giles Funeral Home, Inc., 4914 Kutztown Rd., Temple.
