MAZIE B. ROSE, 97, OF LOWER FREDERICK TWP. Mazie B. (Heimbach) Rose, 97, wife of the late Henry W. Rose, Big Rd., Lower Frederick Twp., died Tuesday, at home. Mrs. Rose was born on May 16, 1914, in Upper Frederick Twp. She was a daughter of the late Thomas and Bertha (Leister) Heimbach. Before she retired, Mrs. Rose was a seamstress, for over 30 years, at the former Rosenau Co., Red Hill. Mrs. Rose was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church, Obelisk. Mrs. Rose is survived by her children, William L. Rose, New Hanover Twp.; LeRoy H. Rose, New Hanover Twp.; John A. Rose, Lower Frederick Twp.; Herman T. Rose, Washington Twp.; David A. Rose, Lower Frederick Twp., and Joan C. Rose, at home; her sister, Beulah Leister, Lewes, DE; 13 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren, and four step-great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two grandchildren and seven siblings. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, at St. Luke's Lutheran Church, Route 73 & Neiffer Rd., Upper Frederick Twp., with the Rev. Arlene K. Greenwald, Interim Pastor, officiating.
