Nicholas Semanyszyn

NICHOLAS SEMANYSZYN, 88, OF STOWE Nicholas Semanyszyn, 88, widower of Catherine (Prijma) Semanyszyn, of Lemon Street, Stowe, passed away Wednesday, November 14, 2012 in the Sanatoga Center. Born in Pelo, Western Ukraine, he was a son of William and Eva (Breslowski) Semanyszyn. He was employed in the Maintenance Department of the Doehler Jarvis Corp. for 35 years, retiring in 1989. He was a member of St. Michael Ukrainian Catholic Church. Surviving are sons, Russell and Nicholas W. Semanyszyn of Stowe; daughters, Nancy Gumbert, Gilbertsville, and Sandra Sovelius, Woodlands, TX, and grandchildren, Michael, David, Ryan, Sean, Thomas and Jessica. He was predeceased by brothers, Maxim and Onifer Semanyszyn; a sister, Maria Totoan, and stepbrothers, William and Joseph. Divine Liturgy will be offered 10 am Monday, November 19, 2012 in St. Michael Ukrainian Catholic Church, 425 W. Walnut St., Pottstown. Burial will be in Highland memorial Park. Friends may call Monday 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at the Warker-Troutman Funeral Home, 726 High St., Pottstown.
