Paul M. Sharples

PAUL M. SHARPLES, 71, OF COLLEGEVILLE Paul M. Sharples, 71, husband of Barbara (Pitman) Sharples, Larkin Lane, Collegeville, died Thursday, at Manor Care, Pottstown. Mr. Sharples was born on April 8, 1941, in Trenton, NJ, and was a son of the late Robert A. and Frances (Fischel) Sharples. He was a veteran of the US Navy. Mr. Sharples retired in 2005, from the L.F. Driscoll, Co., Lower Merion Twp., where he was an estimator for 25 years. Mr. Sharples was a member of Trinity Reformed Church, United Church Of Christ, Collegeville. In addition to his wife, Mr. Sharples is survived by his children, Amy Sharples, Manasquan, NJ, Beverly Sharples, Pennsauken, NJ, Robert Sharples, Pottstown, and Megan Sharples, Plainsboro, NJ; his granddaughter, Danielle Marie DiMattia, and his brothers, Kenneth, husband of Barbara Sharples, New Hope, David, husband of Susan Sharples, Harrington, DE, and Bruce Sharples, Florence, NJ. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, Trinity Reformed Church, UCC, Collegeville, with the Rev. Dr. Martha B. Kriebel, Pastor, officiating. Friends may call from 10 to 10:45 a.m., Tuesday, at church. Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Reformed Church, UCC, 532 E. Main St., Collegeville, PA 19426. Arrangements are by the Holcombe Funeral Home, Inc., Trappe.
