RALPH J. FULTON, 90, OF DOUGLASSVILLE Ralph J. "Steamboat" Fulton, 90, of Douglassville, PA, died on Monday, March 25, 2013 at the Pottstown Memorial Medical Center, Pottstown, PA. He was the husband of Mary M. (Rick) Fulton, with whom he share 26 years of marriage. Born in Norristown, PA, he was the son of the late John W. Fulton and Anne Mary (McCluen) Fulton. He was a graduate of Norristown High School. He was a lead man/inspector for Superior Tube Company, Collegeville, PA for 35 years. Mr. Fulton was a member of Salem United Methodist Church, Pottstown, Life member of Hancock Fire Company and the Loyal Order of Moose
of Norristown, PA. He enjoyed working around his home, especially his yard and collecting small whisky bottles from various companies. Surviving in addition to his wife are three sons, Norman Keyes and his wife Ilean of Poolesville, MD; Wayne Fulton of Pottstown, PA, and Albert T. Griffith and his wife Tara of Mt. Pleasant, PA; five daughters, Janet, wife of David Smith of Collegeville, PA; Margaret, wife of Larry Draper of Honeybrook, PA; Teresa, wife of Earl Ortlip of Birdsboro, PA, and Melissa Griffith of Boyertown, PA; 16 grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service 10:30 a.m. on Friday, March 29, 2013 at the Houck & Gofus Funeral Home, Inc., 955 N. Charlotte Street, Pottstown, PA. Interment will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Rev. Timothy Stewart will officiate. Friends may call from 9-10:30 a.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
