Raymond A. Bowman

RAYMOND A. BOWMAN, 84, OF POTTSTOWN Raymond A. Bowman, 84, of West Beech St., Pottstown, passed away Thursday in the Pottstown Memorial Medical Center. Born in Wellsburg, WV, he was a son of John Johnson and Catherine (Golden) Bowman. He was employed as a machine foreman by the Mrs. Smith Pie Co. and was a US Army veteran of World War II. Surviving are sons, Ashley R. Bowman and wife, Anne of Collegeville, and John W. Bowman, Ocean View, DE; grandsons, Anthony R. Raymond A. and Robert F. Bowman; sisters, Susan Wetzel and Alice Aiello, and brothers, Wilmer, John, Bernie and Howie Bowman. He was predeceased by long-time companion, Theresa A. Lash; son, Raymond A. (Ray-Ray) Bowman, and sisters, Esther Carridino, Charlotte Yocham and Elsie Giglio. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Warker-Troutman Funeral Home, 726 High St., Pottstown. Burial will be in St. Aloysius New Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday 9 to 10 a.m. at the funeral home.
