Richard A. Bell

RICHARD A. BELL, 50, OF GILBERTSVILLE Richard A. Bell, 50, of Gilbertsville, passed away suddenly on Monday at Pottstown Memorial Medical Center after being stricken at home. Born in Fort Knox, Kentucky, he was the son of Jack W. Bell of Gilbertsville and the late Mary E. (Krizner) Bell. He was a 1980 graduate of Boyertown Area High School. During his time in high school he was on the cross country team. After graduation he developed a passion for bicycling. He enjoyed spending time with his nephew. He was also an avid Eagles fan and Jeff Gordon fan. Richard lastly worked at Freed's Supermarket in Gilbertsville. He was a member of New Hanover United Methodist Church in Gilbertsville. Surviving in addition to his father, with whom he resided are one sister, Terri L. Vroman, wife of Gary of Boyertown, and one nephew, Dakota E. Vroman of Boyertown. A funeral service will be held from Saturday, September 29, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at Morrell Funeral Home Inc., 124 West Philadelphia Avenue, Boyertown, PA. Burial will be in Limerick Garden of Memories. A viewing will be held from 9-10:30 a.m. at the funeral home Saturday morning. Contributions may be made in his memory to a .
