Roberta L. Ayres

ROBERTA L. AYRES, 51, OF ROYERSFORD Roberta L. (Ferko) Ayres, 51, of Royersford and formerly of Mont Clare, PA died on Wednesday, September 19, 2012 at home. She was the wife of John "Jack" Ayres, who she was married to for 19 years. Born in Phoenixville, PA, she was the daughter of Antoinette C. "Dolly" (Melice) Ferko of Mont Clare, PA, and of the late Robert A. Ferko Sr. Roberta was a graduate of Spring Ford High School, class of 1979. She worked for 16 years with the mentally challenged at Kencrest Services in Upper Providence Township. Roberta fostered 40 children, she loved the Lord and loved her neighbors as she loved herself. She loved the seashore and always had kind words and advice for family and friends. She was a member of Holy Ghost Orthodox Church in Phoenixville. Surviving in addition to her mother and husband are her children, Amy, wife of Paul Frye; Angela Ayres; Nathan Ayres; Nicole Ayres and Daniel Ayres; grandchildren, Eric, Anthony, Mikayla, Jordan, Kassius, Chase and Kaden; very dear best friend, Leigh Massinger; sisters and brother, Doreen, wife of Jim King; Mary Dawn wife of Chris Joyce; Robert Ferko Jr., husband of Diane, and Charlene Ferko; 23 nieces and nephews; mother-in-law, Linda (Decker), wife of James Blincoe; siblings-in-law, Eleanor, wife of James Black; Mike Ancelitz; Raymond Ayres; Allison, wife of Scott Taylor; Veronica Kelley wife of Lloyd Bush, and John Kownacki, and loving friends, Carol, Alicia and Ginny. Relatives and Friends are invited to attend her Funeral Service in the Holy Ghost Orthodox Church, Starr and Bridge Streets, Phoenixille, on Monday, September 24, 2012 at 10:15 a.m. Burial will follow in Holy Ghost Cemetery, Lovers Lane, Mont Clare. There will be a viewing at the church on Monday morning from 8 to 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Children of Roberta Ayres Memorial, Wells Fargo Bank, P.O.
