Ronald Paul Paster

Ronald Paul Paster, of Phoenixville, Pa., husband of Helen (Durchin) Paster, was born on May 19th, 1944. He was a self-employed contractor, working primarily in the Phoenixville area.
On November 27th, 2013, negotiations were finalized. I was traded to the Heavenly Angels. My Lord decided that 69 years in the minors was long enough. I attended all local schools. Upon graduation, while all my friends attended major universities, I attended the greatest of all... The University of Uncle Sam, majoring in war. As a Navy man, I was attached to Fighter Squadron 161 out of Miramar, California (Top Gun). Two tours in Vietnam, first aboard the U.S. Constellation and the second aboard the Coral Sea. Awarded National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with 2 bronze stars, Vietnam Campaign medal, Navy Unit Commendation Ribbon. After 5 years, I received my diploma. Returned home and found the love of my life, Helen. She gave me 3 lovely daughters, Chris, Donna, and Lisa. I can't begin to say enough about all four. I worked most of my life in light construction. Doing double duty for 13 years with B.F. Goodrich.
Surviving in addition to his wife of 44 years are daughters Christine, wife of Gary Wilson of Homer City, Pa., Donna, of Royersford, Pa., and Lisa and partner Nicole Malich of Las Vegas, Nev., son of Florence G. (Dunlap) Paster of Royersford, Pa. and the late Michael A. Paster, Sr., brother to Michael A. Paster, Jr. and wife Joyce, sister-in-law Dorothy Yerger. Many nieces and nephews.
