Ruth N. Fagley

RUTH N. FAGLEY, 106, OF ROYERSFORD Ruth N. (Reightnour) Fagley, 106, passed away Tuesday, September 25, 2012 at The Parkhouse at Providence Point. She was the wife of the late John N. Fagley. She was born in Pottstown to the late Edgar and Bertha (McCullough) Reightnour. She lived most of her life in Spring City. In addition to being an avid homemaker, Ruth worked as a clerk at Ortlips store in Spring City. She enjoyed cooking and baking. She is survived by three sons, William Fagley of Pottstown; James Fagley of Delaware, and Kenneth Fagley of Trappe, and four daughters, Dorothy Riker of Royersford, Valeria Horne of Gilbertsville, Darlene Maskulak of Connecticut and Ruth Ann Hughes of Kimberton. In addition she is survived by 18 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by one son, John W. Fagley; three sisters, Katherine Hammel, Verna Houser and Minerva Polly, and one brother, Lyman Reightnour. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. at the Shalkop Grace and Strunk Funeral Home, Bridge and Church Streets Spring City, PA. The Reverend Erick Kern will officiate. Burial will follow at The Valley Forge Memorial Gardens in King of Prussia. Visitation will be held Monday morning in the funeral home from 10 to 11 a.m. Funeral Arrangements are entrusted to the Shalkop Grace & Strunk Funeral Home.
