Sarae (Collins) Fabry, 102, passed away September 28, 2013 at The Birches at Arbour Square in Harleysville where she had resided since December. Her husband, Henry L. Fabry, preceded her in death in 1992. She had formerly resided in Schwenksville and Blue Bell.
Born March 24, 1911 in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late William and Emma (Daum) Collins, and attended Abington High School.
Mrs. Fabry was a long-time member of First Presbyterian Church of Ambler where she was a member of Deborah Circle. She more recently joined Heidelberg U.C.C. in Schwenksville. An avid square dancer until the age of 85, she was a member of Lentz's Lofters. She also enjoyed traveling and playing Scrabble.
Surviving are two daughters, Gayle Michener of Ambler, and Diane McFarland and her husband, David, of Schwenksville; a brother, William Collins; four grandchildren, Suzanne Bellini (wife of Mark), Robin Michener, David McFarland, III (husband of Laura), and Debra McFarland; and ten great grandchildren, Tara McFarland, Christopher Bellini, Nicholas Bellini, Wesley McFarland, Joel McFarland, Daniel McFarland, Emma Bellini, Tory McFarland, Benjamin McFarland, and Ethan McFarland.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Edith Parkhouse; and by a son-in-law, Henry Michener.
Graveside services will be private for the family at George Washington Memorial Park.
