THOMAS ANDREW DAWSON, 70, OF LOWER POTTSGROVE TWP. Thomas Andrew Dawson, age 70, of Lower Pottsgrove Twp., died on Thursday, September 27, 2012 at the Pottstown Memorial Medical Center, Pottstown. He was the husband of Carol A. (McLaughlin) Dawson, with whom he shared 28 years of marriage. Born in Cambridge, MD, he was a son of the late Andrew and Clara (Lehman) Dawson. Thomas was a self employed plumber/pipe fitter. He owned and operated Dawson Plumbing & Heating from 1994 - 2010 in the tri-county area. An active member of Cornerstone Family Church-Church of the Nazarene in Limerick, Tom served on their worship team. He enjoyed playing the guitar and various string instruments. Surviving in addition to his wife are four sons, Thomas A. Dawson, Jr. of Salisbury, MD; Matthew Dawson of Maryland; Donald Fite of Reading; David Fite of Pottstown; five daughters, Susan Parks of Salisbury, MD; Charlotte Mills of Salisbury, MD; Andrea Johnston of Salisbury, MD; Allison Broadbent of Ashburn, VA; Natalie Dawson of Cambridge, MD; one brother, Billy Dawson of Cambridge, MD; one sister, Viola Dietert of Laurel, DE; fourteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his two brothers, Shannon and Red Dawson, and his sister, Marie Murphy. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his life celebration 11 am on Saturday, October 6, 2012 at the Cornerstone Family Church, 118 Airport Industrial Center, Limerick. Pastors Paul Thornhill and Adam Ziegler will officiate. Interment will be in Limerick Garden of Memories, Limerick. Friends may call on Saturday at the church from 10-11 am. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Salvation Army, 137 East King Street, Pottstown, PA 19464.
