Adriana....I am so very sorry for your loss of your kind, cheerful, loving husband. I live in Oregon now but used to live in Village Green. We always enjoyed Argento's. It wasn't until last night talking with my family about how much we missed Argento's food that we realized Vinnie had passed. Oh I am so very sorry. You and Vinnie always made me feel like a special customer. After I moved from PA to OR, I came back and was at a dress rehearsal for my niece at Boyertown HS, and you guys were set up selling pizza. When I realized it was Argento's pizza I got super excited...they just don't make pizza like that in OR. Suddenly, Vinnie and then you, Adriana, even after all these years, remembered me, and stepped away from your work to give me a hug and to see how I had been. I will never forget Vinnie or you. My sincere condolences to you and your family.

My heartfelt condolences go out to Adriana, Jerry, Concetta and Dani. Hard to imagine not walking in the shop and having Vinnie tell me about his latest project or asking how the coaching was going. Vinnie was a good guy who seemed focused on his family, business, and community and yet always took time to say hi and talk to you making you feel like you mattered. I'll always consider him a friend.

Uncle Vinny I miss and love you so much. I can't stop thinking about you. You were the sweetest, funniest, and greatest uncle ever. I will never forget you saying "Whose your favorite Uncle." And I would say shyly " Uncle Vinny" then he would tell me to give him a kiss. I will cherish all the memories I had with you. You were like no other. You were like the rainbow after a storm. RIP my sweet Uncle Vinny. Love your niece, Lily <3

Tuesday night, my daughter asked me to pray for the guy who owned Argentos, I didn't understand what she meant. "sure sweetie, he's a great man." I replied. Then she explained she found out through FaceBook Vinny had passed. I stood there in shock. No way! Not Vinny. I couldn't believe it. I still cant. Hard to wrap my head around..can't imagine how it must be for his family. Strange as this sounds, you knew he'd always be around when you stop by for lunch or dinner with that great Vinny way. Vinny you were a wonderful man. You lived the way you loved, with great zeal. Such an honor to have known you. I will pray for you always. Adriana, I am so very sorry. I can't imagine the huge void you have in your heart. My deepest sympathy to you and your children, he was too young. My prayers always to you and your family. Peace be with you..

I met Vinny when I was still in high school, his dad's pizza place was a place to be after school ,my smart aleck attitude meshed well with his and his brothers and father's and we quickly became friends. He moved on to his own shop V&J pizza and I followed, showing up as much as I could to enjoy the friendly, funny atmosphere. Years passed, our lives changed, and I lost touch with him until I moved to Gilbertsville and drove past a Pizza and donut shop, I pulled in, went in, and it was like we had never been separated, I got a big hug. A year later, my life was circling the drain a bit and I needed a job, he asked me to work for him and I have been there ever since. Vinny was more than a boss, he was a true friend, and he will be missed greatly by myself and thousands of others. I write this with tears in my eyes and on my face, but know this, I love you Vincenzo Argento, you made my life better, and for that I thank you. Godspeed my friend

Argento's Donut and Pizza shop was my first job back in 1993-1994 and you were so patient in my learning of waitressing. Vinny never forgot my name when I came in to order, even 20 years later. He always wished me well and his absence will be sorely missed. I am so sorry Adriana, Concetta, Daniela and Jerry. Much Love and Respect to you all.

Our hearts go out to the Argento family at this time of sorrow. I know Boyertown will miss Vinny and I also know my grandson is going to miss Vinny very much. Vinny would make him his own pizza with soy cheese on it. Because he was allergic to dairy products. Vinny was never to busy to stop and make this special pizza just for my grandson so he could enjoy pizza like the rest of his family. Vinny you were the best in my grandsons eyes. We miss you already. Rest in peace

I worked in Boyertown for 11 years and Argento's was always my favorite place to eat, mainly because of Vinny's personality. I never saw him without a smile, and I always loved talking to him, often about the love we shared for the Philadelphia Eagles. I left my job in Boyertown, but moved back to Gilbertsville about 4 years later. I went back to the pizza shop and Vinny remembered me right away. I was deeply saddened to hear of his sudden passing. God Bless Vinny and his family.

Vinny
The only thing bigger than your heart is your smile. You've impacted so many lives and I don't think you even realize the impression you've left on so many during your brief stay on this earth, simply by being you!
Your incredible personality can be seen in your legacies (Jerry, Concetta and Daniela) and they will forever be fostered in the way you lived through Adriana's incredible strength.
Something tells me that if there's a squeak in the pearly gates, you'll be the first one there to offer to fix it!
I pray that you are at peace and can rest easy! You are sorely missed buddy!!

Vinny - your time here was entirely too brief, but has had an incredible impact on so many. The only thing bigger than your heart is your smile. Jerry, Concetta and Daniela will no doubt carry on the legacy you have left behind - fostered by your biggest fan, Adriana.
You've left us all wondering what God's plan is and I guess we will find out what that plan is all in due time.
You are sorely missed, buddy! I hope you are at peace and can finally rest easy knowing how much you meant to so many!
