DAVID A. EDGECOMBE, 68, OF POTTSTOWN David A. Edgecombe, 68, of Pottstown, PA, husband of of Sandy (Swavely) Edgecombe, died Wednesday at his residence. Born in Pottstown, PA, he was a son of the late Edward A. Edgecombe and the late Sara (Mohn) Edgecombe. Mr. Edgecombe was a graduate of Pottstown High School. He was employed as a computer programer. Mr. Edgecombe loved to play Texas Holdem, shuffle board and chess. Surviving in addition to his wife is one son, Dennis A. Edgecombe and his wife Maureen, Pullman, WA; two daughters, Audrey L. wife of Andrew Faust, Pottstown; Melissa L. wife of Michael O'Connor, San Francisco, CA; one sister Phyllis Fonock, Malvern and four grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. on Tuesday, April 22, from the Schumacher & Benner Funeral Home & Crematory, 359 King St. Pottstown. Officiating will be Reverend Donald B. Eisenhauer. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park, Pottstown. The family will receive relatives and friends from 10 until 11 a.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
