Albert G. McCarraher Jr.

Albert G. McCarraher Jr., of Phoenixville, passed away Saturday, July 27, 2013 at his home surrounded by family. He was the husband of Earlene L. (Grater) McCarraher.
He was born in Phoenixville to the late Albert G. Sr. and Mary (DeWees) McCarraher. Mr. McCarraher was employed for many years as a tire-builder for BF Goodrich in Oaks, Pa., until retiring.
Albert was a life member of the Liberty Fire Company, Spring City, Pa., Spring City American Legion, Friendship Fire Company and West End Fire Company, both of Phoenixville, and Valley Forge Fire Company.
In addition to his wife, Albert is survived by his sons, Randy, husband of Winifred, of Frederick, Md., Dale, husband of Marcia, of Pomfret, Ct., Brian, husband of Chris, of Grand Island, Neb., and Sean, husband of Meredith, of Limerick. He is also survived by a sister, Mary Elizabeth Swartz, wife of Gerald, of Audubon, a brother, Barry, husband of Mary, of Garden City, Long Island, N.Y., and nine grandchildren.
Albert was predeceased by a son, Albert G. McCarraher III.
Services will be Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc., Main Street at Fifth Avenue, Phoenixville, Pa. Calling time is from 10 to 11 a.m. Burial will be in Limerick Garden of Memories.
