Bessie Gable

BESSIE GABLE, 98, OF SCHUYLKILL TWP. Bessie Gable, 98, wife of the late Ernest D. Gable, Sr., passed on July 8, 2013. She was the daughter of the late Elizabeth Sabadosh Huber and Louis Andrew Sabadosh. Bessie was a life time resident of Schuylkill Township, Phoenixville, PA. She was a long time member of Parkside United Church of Christ, where she was a member of the Women's Guild of Parkside United Church of Christ. She was employed at the Kimberton Company for many years. Bessie is survived by six children, Louise Schantz, wife of Donald Schantz, of Phoenixville, Barbara Ribick Chiusano, wife of Michael Chiusano, of Phoenixville, Elaine Rittenbaugh, of Florida, Ernest D. Gable Jr., husband of Barbara Gable, of Pottstown, William F. Gable, husband of Deborah Gable, of Phoenixville, and Thomas Gable, of Glenolden; 16 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one brother, Andrew Sabadosh, and three sisters, Betty Gombos, Mary Kehler and Helen Rafferty. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service at Parkside United Church of Christ, Main Street at Third Avenue, Phoenixville, on Friday, July 12, 2013, at 11 a.m. Officiating will be the Rev. Dr. F. Russell Mitman. Interment will follow in the Morris Cemetery. Friends will be received from 9:30-11a.m. at the Church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Parkside United Church of Christ, 505 Main Street, Phoenixville, PA 19460.
