Carlo Manfredi Obituary

CARLO MANFREDI, 74, OF POTTSTOWN Carlo Manfredi, 74, of East High Street, Pottstown, husband of Judy (Shaner) Manfredi, passed away Sunday at Pottstown Memorial Medical Center. Born in Genoa, Italy, he was a son of the late Leonardo Manfredi and the late Maria Manfredi. He came to the U.S. in 1955. Mr. Manfredi was a steel worker for LaSalle Steel, Royersford, then worked for Waste Management and also Shaner Propane until his retirement. He served in the Army during the Vietnam War. Mr. Manfredi was a member of St. James Lutheran Church, Limerick. Surviving besides his wife is a son Jeffrey L. Manfredi, Pottstown; a daughter Jody L. Manfredi, Pottstown; a step son John Reagan, Pottstown; three brothers Angelo Manfredi, Red Hill, Louis Manfredi and his wife B.J., Collegeville, Peter Manfredi and his wife Joni, Lower Pottsgrove Twp.; and three grandchildren Zachary Reagan, Carlo Sutton, Eli Tyner. Also surviving are children from a previous marriage Anna Marie, Leonardo Manfredi, Carlo Manfredi, Jr. Funeral Services will be 11 a.m. on Thursday from the Schumacher & Benner Funeral Home & Crematory 359 King St., Pottstown. Officiating will be Reverend Stuart W. Luce. Burial will be in Limerick Garden of Memories. There will be a viewing Thursday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Contributions may be made in his memory to American Diabetes Association 150 Monument Rd., Suite 100, Bala Cynwyd, PA 19004. Arrangements are by the Schumacher & Benner Funeral Home & Crematory, at 359 King St. in Pottstown, PA. Our web site exists to serve the friends and family of the deceased.
