Charles Baldasano Obituary

Charles J. Baldasano II, 62, husband of Susan J. (Houck) Baldasano, Crosskeys Rd. Lower Providence, died Wednesday November 13, at home.
Mr. Baldasano was born on August 5, 1951, in Norristown, and was a son of Charles J. and Myrtle A. (Dolan) Baldasano, of Lower Pottsgrove. He was a 1969 graduate of Methacton High School and served in the U.S. Navy.
Mr. Baldasano was a self employed general contractor.
In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Baldasano is survived by his daughters, Brandi, wife of Jon Bentrim, of Sewickley, Christi, wife of Benjamin Schofield, of New Britain Township, and Laura, wife of Brett Surguine, of Yuma, Ariz.; his step-sons, Joshua Stahl, of Philadelphia, Jeremy Stahl, of Lower Providence Township., Jacob, husband of Nina (Douglass) Stahl, of Lower Merion Township., and Jonah Stahl, of Lower Providence Township.; his siblings, Constance J., wife of Lloyd Deery, of North Coventry Township., and Richard J., husband of Kathleen E. (Trullinger) Baldasano, of Perkiomen; and nine grandchildren.
Mr. Baldasano was active in Scouting and the Schwenksville Lions Club. He was a member of Royersford VFW Post 6341 and Trappe VFW Post 7155.
A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, November 20th, at Trinity Reformed Church, United Church Of Christ, 532 Main St. Collegeville, with Rev. Dr. Martha B. Kriebel, Pastor, officiating. Friends may call from 9:30 to 10:15 a.m., Wednesday, at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, Suite 150, 480 Norristown Rd., Blue Bell, PA 19422. Arrangements are by Holcombe Funeral Home, Inc., Trappe.

Charlie was the greatest handyman. I will always remember his singing and carrying on conversations with himself while busy at work. He will be missed by many for his genuine and unique personality.
