David Everett Wagoner Obituary
DAVID EVERETT WAGONER, 86, OF SEATTLE, WA David Everett Wagoner of Seattle, Washington, died on July 5, 2014 at the age of 86. He was born to Claude and Katherine Wagoner in Pottstown, PA on May 16, 1928 and grew up in Spring City. He graduated from Lawrenceville School, Yale University, and University of Pennsylvania Law School. After law school he clerked for US Supreme Court Justice Harold Burton. Later, he moved to Seattle where he began a long and successful practice as a trial lawyer and later as an international arbitrator. He was elected to the Seattle School Board for eight years and subsequently served for 12 years as a Governor of the Evergreen State College Foundation. He is survived by his wife, Jean Wagoner; sons Colin, Elon, and Peter; eight grandchildren; cousin Barbara Miller Seeley, and predeceased by his brother Brower and son Paul. There will be a celebration of David's life at the Rainier Club in Seattle on July 30, 2014 at 3 p.m. He will be interred at the Zion Lutheran Church in Spring City, likely in September.
