DOLORES BARBARA WOLSKI, 87, OF MILFORD, DE Dolores Barbara (Slodysko) Wolski, of Milford, DE, passed away at her home on Wednesday, August 21, 2013, surrounded by members of her loving family. Born in Shamokin, PA, on August 16, 1926, Dolores was the daughter of the late Andrew J. Slodysko Sr. and Catherine V. Karpinski. Her husband, Alphonse Wolski, died on April 7, 1985. Mrs. Wolski held a number of jobs while being a homemaker to her husband and three sons in Phoenixville, PA. She moved to Delaware after the passing of her husband. She was an active member of the Milford Senior Center and recently celebrated her 25th year of volunteer service. She was best known for running the thrift shop at the Senior Center and participating in the variety shows held at the Center. She loved going to auctions, yard sales, crabbing and playing the slots at the local casino. She is survived by her sons, Albert Wolski and wife Mary, of State College, PA; Raymond Wolski and wife Betsy, of Phoenixville, PA, and Donald Wolski and wife Debbie, of Middletown, DE; five grandchildren, Kyle, Darrah, Derek, Regan Wolski and Alexandra Duprey, and one great-grandchild, Lenore Duprey. She is also survived by sisters, Mildred Brown, Patricia Redd and Blendene Pefley; brother, Andrew Slodysko, and an aunt, Margaret Yoder. Dolores was preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy Slodysko, and a brother, Robert Slodysko. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, August 27, 2013 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 219 Dayton Street, Phoenixville, at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow in Holy Trinity Cemetery immediately after the service. Visitation will be held in the church on Tuesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Milford Senior Center, 111 Park Ave., Milford DE 19963.
