DOROTHY L. APP, 89, OF UPPER PROVIDENCE Dorothy L. App, 89, of Upper Providence Township, PA, formerly of Exton, PA, died Thursday morning, January 10, 2013 in the Parkhouse Providence Pointe Nursing Home in Upper Providence. Born in Selinsgrove, PA, she was a daughter of the late Robert L. and Ruth E. (Jarrett) App. Miss App worked for the K-Mart in Exton, for many years. Miss App is survived by one sister, Ruth Going, of Connecticut, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by four siblings, Elizabeth M. Priori, Edna G. App, Robert L. App and Russell K. App. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the graveside service at the Union Cemetery in Selinsgrove, on Saturday, February 2, 2012 at 12 p.m. Officiating will be the Rev. Robert Doll. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made in her name to the Parkhouse at Providence Pointe, North 5th floor, 1600 Black Rock Road, Royersford, PA 19468 or to the Vitas Hospice, 1787 Sentry Parkway West, Bldg 16, Suite 400, Blue Bell, PA, 19422. The Cattermole-Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford, PA, is in charge of the arrangements.
