Ernest Fox Obituary
Born in Bally, he was the son of the late Harvey and Helen (Bauman) Fox.
Ernest was the owner of the former Fox Lawn Maintenance in Boyertown for 25 years and then worked at the former Bally Case and Cooler as foreman for 22 years.
He was a member of the Gilbertsville Fire Compay, the Pikeville Rod & Gun club and attended Morning Star Fellowship Church with his wife. He enjoyed doing yard work, going to his cabin and hunting.
Surviving with his wife of 37 years is daughter Sherry Bauer of Gilbertsville; sons, Ernest S. Fox Jr, Neal Fox, Ryan Fox, all of Barto; sister, Betty Schlegel of Gilbertsville; stepson, Robert Walbert of Alburtis; stepdaughter Sheila Danner of Emmaus; 14 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
He is predeceased by his brother, Gordon Fox.
A funeral service will be Thursday, Dec. 12, 11 a.m. at Morning Star Fellowship, 100 Limekiln Road, Bechtelsville, with Pastor Steven DeFrain officiating. Burial will follow in Hill Church Cemetery, Boyertown. Visitation will be Thursday from 9 to 10:45 a.m. at the church.
