GARY G. WATERHOUSE, 71, OF UPPER POTTSGROVE Gary G. Waterhouse, 71, of Upper Pottsgrove Township, PA, died on Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at Powerback Rehabilitation Center, Norristown, PA. He was the husband of the late Alice A. (Wilcox) Waterhouse. Born in McKeesport, PA, he was a son of the late George H. Waterhouse and Hazel R. (Stevens) Waterhouse. Gary was a graduate of Grove City College, where he earned a B.S. in Business Administration. He continued his education and became licensed to sell life, health and annuities. He was a corporate executive and was employed by the Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Company (A&P), Plus Discount Foods Corporation, West Motor Freight Company, American Olean Tile Company. He then worked for the Health, Life and Securities Division of Prudential Life Insurance Co., State Farm and Combined Insurance Company. He was an ordained deacon of the First Presbyterian Church, Pottstown, served on the Board of Directors of the Olean Area United Way, and was a member of the Olean Area Chamber of Commerce. Gary was also a member of the Olean Rotary Club, President and Treasurer of the Olean Area Industrial Management Council, Marketing Board of Cattaraugus County Economic Development Zone. He was an assistant instructor of Dale Carnegie. He also enjoyed his book and music club. Survivors include two daughters, Camille Waterhouse, wife of Cliff Shade of Upper Pottsgrove Twp., and Christie Waterhouse Eddy, fianc of Willie Finch of Jamestown, NY; one brother, Alan Waterhouse, husband of Carol of Coal Center, PA; six grandchildren, Brandon and Jenna Shade, Shane Eshbach, Corrissa Waterhouse, Scott Eddy ("AJ") and Christina Eddy ("Tina"), and two great-grandchildren, Cameron Eshbach and Serenydi Eshbach. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 20, 2013 at the Houck & Gofus Funeral Home, Inc., 955 N. Charlotte Street, Pottstown, PA. Interment will be in Highland Memorial Park, Pottstown, PA. Friends may call from 10-11 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
