GEORGE A. WADSWORTH, 84, OF PHOENIXVILLE George A. Wadsworth, 84, husband of the late Beatrice M. (Zabicki) Wadsworth, of Phoenixville, PA, died on Friday, August 24, 2012 at home. Born in Phoenixville, he was the son of the late Winfield and Emma (McIntyre) Wadsworth. George served in the United States Navy. He retired from the former Leighton Industries in Phoenixville. He loved to socialize with friends, and loved to tinker and fix things with his hands. He was a giving and generous person who donated much to charities. He is survived by his grandson, George Cartolaro. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Julia Wadsworth; four brothers and three sisters. Relatives and Friends are invited to attend his Graveside Service at Holy Trinity Cemetery, Fillmore Street, Phoenixville, on Wednesday, September 5, 2012 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his name may be made to the Paralyzed Veterans of America, 801 18th Street NW, Washington, DC 20006.
