Gerald Keim Obituary

GERALD F. KEIM, 76, OF PHOENIXVILLE Gerald F. Keim, 76, husband of Kathleen M. (Hempsey) Keim, lifelong resident of Phoenixville, PA, passed away on Wednesday, February 20, 2013 in the Phoenixville Hospital. Born in Phoenixville, he was a son of the late Paul and Genevieve (Krause) Keim. Mr. Keim was a graduate of Phoenixville High School, and went on to serve in the United States Navy. He worked for the Philadelphia Electric Company for 35 years before his retirement. He was a social member of the Valley Forge Fire Company, the West End Fire Company, the Friendship Fire Company, the American Legion, and the VFW. Mr. Keim enjoyed crossword puzzles, fishing, and spending time with his grandchildren. In addition to his wife, Mr. Keim is survived by two sons, Raymond, husband of Jennifer Keim of Phoenixville, and John Keim of Phoenixville, and two grandchildren, Josh and Emily Keim of Phoenixville. He was preceded in death by one brother, Paul Keim. Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are being handled by the Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc., Main Street at Fifth Avenue, Phoenixville.
