Jean Dachsteiner Obituary

Jean (Schaffer) Dachsteiner, 83, formerly of Phoenixville, died on Saturday, Aug. 24, 2013, at Manor Care-Pottstown, where she resided since January.
She was born in Worcester to the late Clinton Buckwalter and Mary Ella (Neihart) Schaffer.
She was a graduate of Phoenixville High School and worked for many years in the kitchen at Phoenixville Hospital and as a waitress at the former Vale-Rio Diner.
She is survived by one son Dennis J. Gambino of Schwenksville; three daughters, Toni Ann Gambino- Berger and husband Matthew, of Harleysville; Mary Rose (Gambino) Timbario and husband Robert, of Gilbertsville, and April Lynn Dachsteiner of Pottstown; sisters Patsy Gambino of Royersford and Gail Schaffer of Phoenixville; 11 grandchildren, Dawn Renee (Phillips) Moyer and Sarah Katherine (Phillips) Trocine; Geanine (Gambino) Sanchez and Fallon and Tristan Gambino; Robin Evans, Marisa Self, Adam and Robert J. Timbario, Stephen Tyler and Savanna Jean Arnold; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by an infant daughter, Linda Susan Weidner, and siblings Kenneth, David, Walter and Emmett Schaffer, Alberta Whitby and Wanda Ennis.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2013, at 10 a.m. at Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc., Main Street at Fifth Avenue, Phoenixville, Pa. Visitation will be from 9 to 10 a.m. Burial will be in Parker Ford Baptist Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Peter's Place, 111 Church St., Phoenixville, PA 19460.
