JOHN R. MISKIV John R. Miskiv died suddenly on Friday, September 21, 2012. He was 71. Born and raised in Phoenixville, PA he was the son of the late John and Helen (Pastorick) Miskiv. Until his retirement in 1994, Mr. Miskiv was a technician for PECO. He proudly served as an MP in the US Army during the Vietnam War. Mr. Miskiv was the beloved husband of 34 years to Dorothy (Sommer). He was the loving stepfather of Fred Katz of Blue Bell, PA; Paul Katz of Camarillo, CA; Deborah Gindin of Yardley, PA, and Ethel Gilbert of Jacksonville, FL. He will also be sadly missed by his grandchildren, Heather, Sam and Robert, and two great-grandchildren. Family and friends are invited to attend his committal service on Thursday, September 27, 1 p.m., at Washington Crossing National Cemetery.
