JOSEPH G. MATTIS, 71, OF KIMBERTON Joseph G. Mattis, 71, of Atria Woodbridge Place, Kimberton, PA, died October 10, 2012 at her residence. He was the husband of the late Paula A. (Gerges) Mattis, who died October 3, 2009. Born in Phoenixville, PA, he was the son of the late John A. Mattis and the late Anna R. (Karkosak) Mattis. Joseph was a machinist for Mrs. Smith's Pies and served in the US Navy in Viet Nam. Surviving are one brother, Raymond Mattis of Phoenixville, and two sisters, Margaret Suzenski, Pottstown, and Ann Wojton, Collegeville, PA. He was predeceased by a brother, John Mattis. Memorial Services will be Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 548 Old Swede Road, Douglassville, PA 19518. Inurnment will be in Royersford Cemetery. Dengler Funeral Home, Inc., Birdsboro, PA is in charge of the arrangements.
