Mary E. Dries

Mary E. (Detwiler) Dries, 90, of Phoenixville, Pa., died on Saturday morning , July 20, 2013, in the Manatawny Manor. She was the wife of the late Frederick W. Dries.
Born in Phoenixville, Pa., she was a daughter of the late Laurence and Edna (Siipple) Detwiler.
Mary worked at the Spring City Knitting Company, than later worked at the Kimberton Company until her retirement.
She was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, the Phoenixville Senior Center and the Phoenixville Chapter of AARP. She also volunteered as a poll worker on Election Day.
She is survived by three sons, Dr. Donald, and wife Candis Dries, of Albany, N.Y., Robert, and wife Lisa Dries, of Gilbertsville, Pa., Gary, and wife Donna Dries, of Sanatoga, Pa.; six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and a brother, William Detwiler of Phoenixville.
She was preceded in death by her sister Virginia Small and brother Paul Detwiler
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service from the Devlin Rosmos Kepp & Gatcha Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Main Street at Fourth Avenue, Phoenixville, PA, on Wednesday, July 24, 2013, at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev. Cynthia L. Krommes officiating.
Burial will follow in Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Spring City.
A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 9 to 10:30 am.
