Mary Jane S. (Henke) Kucharik, 89, widow of Joseph C. Kucharik, died Friday, Sept. 14, 2012 at Parkhouse Providence Point, Upper Providence Township.
Born in Reading, Pa., she was a daughter of the late Robert and Mary (Clay) Henke.
Mary Jane was a devoted member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Phoenixville since 1958.
She was an accomplished pianist performing in concerts and was a member of the musical "Fabulous Henkes" performing in the 60s and 70s throughout southeastern Pennsylvania.
She is survived by two sons, Michael J. Kucharik, of Stowe, Joseph W. Kucharik, partner of Glenn Bromley, Phoenixville, one sister, Marian, wife of Harold Trostle, of Gouglersville, Pa., one brother, Gerald Henke, of Reading, and Jean Valentino, of Phoenixville, who was like a daughter to her.
She was predeceased by nine brothers and sisters.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2012 from Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 146 Church St., Phoenixville.
Relatives and friends may call from 10 until 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Phoenixville.
Arrangements are by the Devlin Rosmos Kepp & Gatcha Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 517 S. Main Street, Phoenixville, Pa.
