Paul C. Gaydos

PAUL C. GAYDOS, 92, OF PHOENIXVILLE Paul C. Gaydos, 92, husband of Mary (Pcolinski) Gaydos, of Phoenixville, died on Tuesday, July 30, 2013 in Sanatoga Center. Born in Czechoslovakia, he was the son of the late Andrew and Anna (Bazik) Gaydos. Paul served in the United States Army during World War II in the European Theatre. He worked for the former B.F. Goodrich Company in Oaks as a truck tire builder for 34 years. He was an active member of St. Michael the Archangel Byzantine Catholic Church and sang in the church choir. He was a life member of Knights of Columbus, St. Nicholas of Myra Council, Mont Clare, and a Fourth Degree member of Knight of Columbus, Father Tomko Assembly. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign War Post 1564, Phoenixville AARP, Phoenixville Senior Center and the B.F. Goodrich Retirees. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who enjoyed spending time with his family. He enjoyed watching the Phillies, gardening, and sketching. Paul had a great sense of humor. In addition to his wife of 67 years he is survived by his daughter, Connie wife of David Thompson of Phoenixville; Son, Paul J. husband of Cheryl Gaydos of Jensen Beach, FL; daughter, Regina wife of William Mosteller of Phoenixville; daughter, Mary wife of Eduardo Paris of Port St. Lucie, FL; four grandchildren, Sasha, Billy, Natalie, David; one great-granddaughter, June; sister, Marianne Barat of Toms River, NJ. He was preceded in death by his brother, Joseph Gaydos. Relatives and Friends are invited to attend his Funeral from the Devlin Rosmos Kepp & Gatcha Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 517 S. Main Street, Phoenixville, on Monday, August 5, 2013 at 9:45 a.m. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated in St. Michael the Archangel Byzantine Catholic Church, Jacob and Landis Streets, Mont Clare, PA at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. James Badeaux officiating. Burial will follow in St. Michael's Cemetery, Mont Clare, PA.
