Rick was a person who helped people in need and he did so in such a caring and heartfelt manner. I owe him a great deal for being there every time I needed him. I will miss you my friend.

I just heard about Ricky's passing this afternoon.I am saddend by the News He was a class guy and an old friend

October 28, 2013

Rick's big smile, great laugh, and outright joy of living was introduced to me when we fished together for years on the Salmon River in Central New York.I could sit and watch Rick and another dear friend magically tie flies that duplicated the natural food which the fish loved best. He was a good man, he helped others, and he knew the disease of addiction well, having counseled thousands and helped save their lives.R.I.P. MY FRIEND.

Earlier this week I received a call that reported that a very good friend had passed .Rick was an excellend Therapist and Psychodramist he provided quality care for men and women who suffered from the disease of addiction as well as assisting their families in learning how to cope with the changes their loved one would encounter. He was a fishing buddy and Rick was an excellent fly tier using his art skills to create squid patterns for the ocean and mayflies for fresh water. Trout or stripe bass were folled countless times because of his life like creations .I will miss him dearly and when I fish I will still hear him saying as a fish ate his fly ou ou he's eating it
