Sophie H. Gottier

SOPHIE H. GOTTIER, 93, OF VENICE, FL Sophie H. (Holubec) Gottier, 93, of Venice, Florida, widow of Ernest R. Gottier, died Friday at Manor Care of Venice. Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was a daughter of the late Michael Holubec and the late Anna (Holowenko) Holubec. Mrs. Gottier attended the Phoenixville School District. She was employed as a line leader with Kiwi of Douglassville for 27 years. She and her late husband enjoyed snowmobiling, boating in Maryland and the outdoors. She especially loved flowers. Surviving is one sister Helen Holubec, Venice, FL; three brothers, Stephen, Michael Jr. and Joseph Holubec, and several nieces and nephews. Services by Schuylkill Chapter #338 Order of Eastern Star will be held 10:15 a.m. on Saturday March 30, 2013 at the Schumacher & Benner Funeral Home & Crematory, 359 King St., Pottstown, followed by funeral services at 10:30 a.m. Officiating will be Reverend Burlington B. Latshaw III. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park, Pottstown.
