BETTY M. PATT, 43, OF BARTO Betty M. (Hartenstine) Patt, 43, of Barto, returned home to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 10, at Pottstown Memorial Medical Center. Born on July 21, 1969, in Pottstown, Betty was the wife of Charles R. Patt, Jr., and daughter of John and Phyllis (Moser) Hartenstine. Betty was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Niantic, where she taught both Sunday school and Bible school, and was active in both Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts. She graduated from Boyertown Area High School, and worked at the MCSPCA, Perkiomenville branch, where she took a special interest in the animals. Betty was a lifetime member of the Girl Scouts, a member of Gilbertsville Fire and Rescue and a former member of the Fire Police. Betty is survived by her husband and parents, as well as a son, Charles R. Patt III; a daughter, Brianna M. Patt, and sisters, Bonnie C. Hartenstine of Bechtelsville, Tina A. Hartenstine of Barto and Melissa A Hartenstine of Quakertown. She was predeceased by brother, Thomas L. Hartenstine, and grandparents, Leroy R. and Doris M. (Wasson) Moser and Thomas A. and Florance Elsie (Machemer) Hartenstine. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Saturday, March 23, 9 to 11 a.m. at Christ Lutheran Church, Niantic, with services starting at 11 a.m. and luncheon to follow. Childcare will be provided during the morning. The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to Christ Lutheran Church, Niantic, 222 Niantic Road, Barto, PA 19504-9314.
