BETTY MAY RALSTON, 82, OF POTTSTOWN Betty May (Cook) Ralston, 82, widow of William W Ralston, died Tuesday, September 3, 2012 in Manatawny Manor, Pottstown, PA. She was born in Bridgeport, PA, to the late Walter and Catherine (Robinson) Cook. Betty May resided most of her years on Ridge Road in Spring City, where she was a graduate of Spring City High School. She was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church and the Kimberton Grange. Betty May was self-employed as an Avon Representative for over 40 years until her retirement. She is survived by a daughter, Mary Lou, wife of Timothy Opper of Moravia, NY. She was preceded in death by two half brothers, William and C. Ernest Neeld. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Memorial Service on Friday at 11 a.m. at Bethel United Methodist Church, 953 Bethel Church Road, Spring City, PA 19475. Burial will be held private in the St. Matthews United Church of Christ Cemetery, Chester Springs. In lieu of flowers gifts may be made in her memory to Bethel United Methodist Church at the above address. The Shalkop Grace & Strunk Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
