Obituary Condolences

CARMEN J. LAULETTA, 78 Carmen J. Lauletta passed away suddenly on Friday, April 12, 2013 at his home. He was 78. Carmen was born in Philadelphia on November 18, 1934, the son of the late Joseph and Antoinette. Mr. Lauletta, of Phoenixville, was an original member of St. Basil the Great Church in Kimberton. Carmen graduated high school early and went on to attend the University of Pennsylvania. He was a retired engineer and vice president for the former Johnstone Engineering and Machine Co. He enjoyed playing football, was an avid gymnast, boxer and an extremely talented artist. He was a former president and coach of the Kimberton Youth Athletic League and volunteered many hours at St. Basil's the Great Church. He was also a veteran of the United States Army. Carmen was a passionate, dedicated person and loved spending time with his family and friends. Surviving is his soul mate of 56 years, his wife, Emma (Santiago) Lauletta, as well as his beloved children, Anthony Lauletta, Jennifer Lauletta Lewis and Cindy Lauletta Cheney. Carmen also leaves behind his six cherished grandchildren, Seth Lewis, Jessica Lauletta, AJ Lauletta, Logan Cheney, Lucas Cheney and Jack Lauletta. Family and friends are invited to attend his memorial mass on Friday, April 19 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Basil the Great Church, Kimberton, PA. Burial will be private. Memorial contributions can be made to the Kimberton Youth Athletic League (KYAL). Funeral arrangements are by the Volpe funeral home, Norristown. VolpeFH.com
