CHARLES FRANCIS REINSTEIN, 68, OF BOYERTOWN Charles Francis Reinstein, 68, of Boyertown, died on Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at the Topton Lutheran Home, Topton. He was the husband of Joanne L. (Souders) Reinstein, with whom he shared 25 years of marriage. Born in Pottstown, he was a son of the late Daniel K. and Thelma (Speece) Reinstein. Charles was a 1961 graduate of the Owen J. Roberts High School and attended Ursinus College for two years. He was an Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. Charles was a member of the Church of the Good Shepherd United Church of Christ, Boyertown, where he served on the Consistory, as a Deacon and in earlier years, sang in the choir. For 15 years, he served as produce manager for various Redner's Markets. He was formerly an insurance agent for The Equitable Life Insurance Co. His passion was for his family, children, grandchildren, baseball and sports. For six years, he served as President of the Boyertown Little League. He had served as Vice President of the organization of the previous seven years, and coached the Optomist team of the girl's softball league. Surviving in addition to his wife are two sons, Michael A. Reinstein of East Greenville, and Kenneth D. Reinstein Sr., and his fianc, Kari of Oley; four daughters, Kim D. Rammien, wife of Billy Davis of Knotts Island, NC; Tammie J., wife of Brian Horton of Norfolk, VA; Jennifer L., wife of C.J. Armstrong of Boyertown, and Nicole D. Reinstein and her partner, Michelle Sarver; one sister, Anna T., wife of the late Eugene Polins of Tampa, FL, and 14 grandchildren. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, November 9, 2011 and from 10-11 a.m. on Thursday, November 10, 2011 at the Houck & Gofus Funeral Home, Inc., 955 N. Charlotte Street, Pottstown. The Rev. Dennis P. Christie will officiate. Funeral services will begin 11 a.m. on Thursday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Boyertown.
