Charles T. Fodor, 89, husband of France J. (Pazery) Fodor, of Audubon, Pa. passed away on November 28, 2013 at the Phoenixville Hopsital. Charles lived in Phoenixville, Pa. most of his life before moving to Audubon in 1997.
Born in Phonixville, Pa., he was the son of the late Charles and Rebecca (Toth) Fodor.
During high school, he worked for the Phoenix Steel Company then graduated from Pierce Business College and was a salesman for the Dunn & Bradstreet Inc. in Philadelphia for 35 years before retiring in 1979.
He was a charter member of the Phoenixville Jaycees from 1952 - 1956, Vice Chairman of the 3rd Annual Dogwood Festival in 1955, a member of the Phoenixville YMCA and a member of the Phoenixville Bowling League.
Charles was a fundraiser for the Upper Providence Little League, private schools and various organizations.
He was the Treasurer of Parkside United Church of Christ.
He was a
Veteran serving in the
in the Submarine Division.
Surviving in addition to his wife are a daughter, Mary Ann Michael, wife of Alan; three grandchildren: Kevin Dries and his companion Jamie, Jeffrey Dries, and Ashley Miller; one great-grandchild, Kaylee Dries and a nephew, Stephen J. Fodor.
He is preceded in death by his first wife, Ethel M.( Prekup) Fodor, a son, Charles G. Fodor and a brother John Fodor.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Memorial Service at the Devlin Rosmos Kepp & Gatcha Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 517 S. Main Street, Phoenixville, PA 19460 on Tuesday, December 3, 2013 at 7:30 PM.
A greeting will be held Tuesday evening from 6 to 7:30 PM, at the funeral home.
Burial will be private at the Morris Cemetery, Phoenixville, PA.
