Concetta "Connie" (Covatta) Wolf, 79, of Oley, wife of Warren R. Wolf, passed away Wednesday Dec. 25, 2013 at the Reading Hospital. |
Born in Norristown, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Elsie (DeAngelo) Covatta.
Connie was an avid gardener and loved to cook and entertain for family and friends. She also owned and operated the Thorndale Inn, Covatta's Britain Lodge, the Fredericksville Hotel, and the Malvern Meeting House.
Surviving, along with her husband, is one son, Thomas P. Haigh, stepson Michael Wolf, stepdaughter Nancy Wolf, one brother, Richard Covatta, grandchildren Heather and Michael McCarney, Noel and Melissa Will, Alex, Dylan, and Valrie Haigh, and Lindsey and Spencer Wolf, great-grandchildren Audrey, Nikki, Gavin, Murphy, and Dominic.
Along with her parents, Connie was predeceased by her two daughters, Toni Will and Donna Barbary, and her brother, Robert Covatta.
A funeral service will be celebrated Thursday Jan. 2, 2013, 10:30 a.m. at Catagnus Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Inc., 711 N. Franklin St., Pottstown, with the Rev. Paul Brandt officiating. Interment will follow at Valley Forge Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held Thursday from 9 to 10:15 a.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Connie's memory to the National Centre for Padre Pio, Inc., 2213 Old Route 100, Barto, PA 19504.
