Daniel R. Cavanaugh, 83, husband of Ann (Roy) Cavanaugh, of Phoenixville, PA, died on Friday, December 7, 2012 in Golden Living Center, Phoenixville, PA.
Born in Schenectady, NY, he was the son of the late Lawrence and Elizabeth (Reilly) Cavanaugh.
Daniel served in the United States Army during the Korean War.
He retired from General Electric Company in King of Prussia, PA. He was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church in Phoenixville. He was a member of Phoenixville Senior Center, Phoenixville AARP Chapter, and coordinator of Chester County Tax Service.
Surviving in addition to his wife are daughter, Cathy Jacob of Newark, DE; daughter Eileen, wife of Jeff Doremus, of Lawrenceville, NJ; daughter, Jane, wife of James Logue, of Phoenixville, PA; son Daniel Cavanaugh and wife Ada, of Baltimore, MD; daughter Maureen, wife of Jerry Smith, of Lakeland, FL; 10 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his brother Lawrence Cavanaugh, and sister Delores Renaud.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass in St. Ann Catholic Church, Main Street at Third Avenue, Phoenixville, PA on Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at 11:00 a.m.
Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery.
Friends may call at the church on Wednesday from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m.
