DIANE KUSZYK, 74 OF SASSAMANSVILLE Diane "Andy" Kuszyk (Hetrick) of Sassamansville passed away on Sunday, May 6th while in the presence of her family. She was the daughter of the late Ernest and Anna (Grater) Hetrick. A native of Spring City, Andy received her bachelor of music degree from West Chester State University and served as a public school teacher for 28 years. She was employed by the Cumberland Valley, Greencastle Antrim, Pottsgrove, Upper Perkiomen and Springford School Districts. She was a fervent music lover and led two church choirs as well as starting the Boyertown Follies Chorus. As a performer, Andy could be heard playing piano for many years at Schaeffer's Restaurant in Boyertown and at the Boyertown Lion's Club. Two of her greatest passions were rescuing and nurturing animals of all kinds including dogs, cats, squirrels, turtles and birds, and supporting the Boyertown Alumni Marching Unit in their parades and concerts. And most of all, nothing made her happier than when she was surrounded by her husband and three sons laughing and playing music together. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Don, her three sons and six grandchildren.
