DOROTHY A. KULP, 87, OF POTTSTOWN Dorothy Arlene (Hall) Kulp, 87, of Pottstown, wife of the late John H. Kulp, passed away on Tuesday at Pottstown Memorial Medical Center. Born and raised in Pottstown, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Florence (Smith) Hall. Dorothy was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, the Pottstown Senior Center, and the Covered Bridge Society. She worked at Sears and the former Doehler Jarvis and enjoyed swimming, playing bridge and flea marketing. Surviving are her sons, Randy of Pottstown; Jeffrey T., husband of Carol A., of Birdsboro; Timothy D. , husband of Carol L., of Pottstown and Gregory A., husband of Peggy, of Douglassville; sisters, Edie Allison of Minnesota, Joan Brenner of Florida, Phyllis Burton of New York, and Marlene Hall and Connie Downie, both of Pottstown; nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Along with her husband and parents, she is predeceased by two sisters and one brother. A funeral service will be Friday, 11 a.m. at Catagnus Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Inc., 711 N. Franklin Street, Pottstown, with Rev. Paul Xander officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Park, Pottstown. Visitation will be Friday from 10 to 10:45 a.m. at the funeral home.
