EDWARD J. BRUNKE, 84, OF EAST COVENTRY Edward J. Brunke, 84, husband of the late Verna (Cressman) Brunke, of East Coventry, PA, died on Wednesday, July 4, 2012 in Seasons Hospice, Phoenixville, PA. Born in Chicago, IL, he was the son of the late Edward and Sally (Janas) Brunke. Edward served in the United States Navy during World War II and the Korean War. He worked for the former Firestone Tire Company until its closing, and then for Occidental Chemical Company until his retirement in 1988. Surviving are his daughters, Carol wife of Joseph Venezia of East Coventry, PA, and Nancy wife of Lash LaRue of Hummondsport, N; three grandchildren, Lindsey Venezia, Joseph Venezia, Duane Brosky and wife Chong Ok; one great-granddaughter, Cynthia Brosky, and brothers, Robert Brunke and Gerald Brunke. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Norbert Brunke and Lawrence Brunke. Relatives and Friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass in Blessed Teresa of Calcutta Catholic Church, 128 Main Street, Linfield, PA, on Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Morris Cemetery, Phoenixville. A viewing will be held in the Devlin Rosmos Kepp & Gatcha Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 517 S. Main Street at Fourth Avenue, Phoenixville, on Monday, July 09, 2012 from 7 to 9 p.m., and on Tuesday morning in the church from 10 to 10:45 a.m. Condolences may be given to the family at www.DevlinRosmosKepp.com
