Eileen C. McLaughlin, 67, of Long Lake, N.Y., died Saturday Oct. 19, 2013 after a long illness.|
She was the wife of Dan McLaughlin.
She was born in Philadelphia on April 14, 1946 the daughter of John and Helen (Hegarty) CLAYPOOLE.
She moved to Lenhartsville, PA and attended Kutztown High School (class of 64). After her marriage, she lived in Lehighton, PA for 32 years. She moved to Long Lake in 2009.
During her life she worked at the Hamburg Center, did private duty nursing and worked part time for the Lehighton School District as a teacher's aide.
She is predeceased in 1981 by her son Heath.
Eileen loved the Adirondacks, spending her last years there.
She is survived by her husband Dan, along with her 5 brothers and one sister: Mark, husband of Genie of Fairbanks, Alaska; Kevin, husband of Suzanne, Fleetwood; Faith, wife of William Riedel, Blandon; Neil of Dauberville; Eric of Lenhartsville; and Shawn, husband of Abby, Kempton, along with many loving nieces and nephews.
Memorial Services will be Saturday, Nov. 2 at 10:30 a.m. in New Bethel Church, Kempton, PA.
