Obituary Condolences

ELLA V. HANLEY, 90, OF SANATOGA Ella V. (Reinert) Hanley, 90, of Sanatoga Center, formerly of Boyertown, widow of Elwood L. Hanley, died Friday at Sanatoga Center. Born in Colebrookdale Township, she was a daughter of the late Harry Reinert and the late Emma M. (Conrad) Reinert. She worked as a presser for the former Sunset Manufacturing in Pottstown for over 26 years. She enjoyed traveling, embroidering and hand sewing. Ella was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 45 North Reading Avenue, Boyertown, PA. She was also a member of the Boyertown Senior Center and the Pottstown Area Senior Center. Surviving are three sons, Linwood L. Heller, husband of Teresa of Pottstown; Clifford D. Heller of Birdsboro, and James Thomas of Potter County; one daughter, Mary S., wife of Charles Leyrer of Gennesse, PA; four sisters, Pauline C. Spohn, widow of Gordon of Barto; Emma M. Heydt, widow of Paul of Gilbertsville; Edna A. Updegrove of Oley, and Alice Z. Houck, wife of Sylvester of Fleetwood; three brothers, William Reinert of Gilbertsville, Thomas J. Reinert of New Berlinville and Leroy J. Reinert of Pottstown; eight grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by four brothers Charles, Earl, George and Clarence Reinert, and one sister, Rachel Levan. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 10, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. at Morrell Funeral Home Inc., 124 West Philadelphia Avenue, Boyertown. A viewing will be held from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park. Arrangements are by the Morrell Funeral Home Inc., (www.MorrellFuneralHome.com).
