George S. Miskewicz Sr. Obituary
GEORGE MISKEWICZ SR., 88, OF PHOENIXVILLE George Miskewicz Sr., 88, husband of the late Lillian T. (Szymanski) Miskewicz, of Phoenixville, PA, died on Tuesday, April 15, 2014 in Paoli Hospital. Born in Wilkes Barre, PA, he was the son of the late Vincent William and Blanche (Kryzyna) Miskewicz. George served in the United States Navy. He worked as a Tire Builder for the former B.F. Goodrich Company in Oaks, PA. He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Phoenixville, a life member of the Veterans of Foreign War Post 1564 Phoenixville, and a member of the YMCA. He also loved gardening. Surviving are a daughter, Kathleen M. Miskewicz of Phoenixville, PA; sons, George Miskewicz, Jr. of Phoenixville, PA, and Kevin Miskewicz and wife Linda of Malvern, PA; grandchildren, Amanda and Erich Miskewicz; brother, Vincent Miskewicz and wife Eleanore of Wilkes Barre, PA; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by sister, Margaret Hallet. Relatives and Friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass in Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 219 Dayton Street, Phoenixville, PA, on Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Phoenixville, PA. Relatives and Friends may call at the church on Tuesday morning from 9:15 to 10:15 a.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the National Federation For The Blind, 200 E.
