Obituary Condolences

Grace (Schultz) Davidheiser, 91, of Boyertown, husband of the late James H. Davidheiser Sr., passed away Friday, April 26, 2013, at her residence (Chestnut Knoll Assisted Living Community).
Born in Bally, she was the daughter of the late Calvin and Mandilla (Moser) Schultz.
Grace worked as the mail room supervisor at Berks-Mont Newspapers, Boyertown, for 26 years.
She was a former longtime member of the Boyertown American Legion Post #471 Ladies Auxiliary. She was also formerly an active member and volunteer with the Boyertown Area Senior Center.
Grace was a longtime flea market enthusiast, and for many years she operated her own flea market booth at the former Royer's Flea Market complex, near Gilbertsville.
One of her favorite pastimes was playing bingo. Her's was a familiar face at the Boyertown Senior Center bingo games, the former Liberty Fire Company (New Berlinville) and Most Blessed Sacrament (Bally) bingo events.
Surviving are her two daughters, Patricia Wisler, of Boyertown, and Linda Nelson, of Buffalo, N.Y., one son, James H. Davidheiser Jr., husband of Diane M., of Boyertown, seven grandchildren, two stepgrandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.
Along with her husband and parents, Grace was predeceased by one daughter, Jane L. Davidheiser, one son, Robert G. Davidheiser, two sisters and two brothers.
A funeral service will be celebrated Thursday, May 2, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at Catagnus Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Inc., 1020 E. Philadelphia Ave., Gilbertsville, with the Rev. John G. Pearson, pastor, officiating. Interment will follow at Niantic Union Cemetery, Barto. Visitation will be held Thursday from 9:30 to 10:15 a.m. at the funeral home.
