Obituary Condolences

GREGORY KRITIKOS, 80, ROYERSFORD Gregory Kritikos, 80, beloved husband of Kalliopi (Brinias) Kritikos of Royersford, formally of North East Philadelphia, died on Saturday in the Pottstown Memorial Medical Center. Born in Corinth, Greece he was the son to the late Konstantino and Marina (Kouini) Kritikos. Gregory moved from Greece to British Columbia Canada where he worked for Alcan Inc. and then moved to the United States and worked as a painter in the Ship Yard for 10 years before opening and owning several restaurants in Philadelphia. He retired in 1995 to spend all of his time with his grandchildren. He was a member of Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church in north East Philadelphia and St. Sophia Greek Orthodox Church in Valley Forge. In addition to his wife he is survived by daughter, Dr. Dina, wife of Rick Garofolo of Royersford, and three grandchildren, Xena Karalis, George Karalis and Richard Garofolo. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service on Thursday at 10 a.m. at the St. Sophia Greek Orthodox Church, 900 South Trooper Road, Jeffersonville, PA 19403. The Reverend Father Peter Thornberg will officiate. Burial to follow in the Fernwood (Royersford) Cemetery. His viewing will be held Thursday morning in church from 9 to 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers memorial gift may be made in his memory to the St. Sophia Building Fund to the above address.
